Due to the upcoming holiday on Thursday, there will be a slight adjustment to the regular content schedule. A YouTube video and a Substack post will be released on Wednesday night, but there will be no content on Thursday itself. The next scheduled releases will be a video on Sunday night and a Substack post on Monday.
As discussed in Tuesday night's YouTube video, the expectation is that the Federal Reserve will take no action at its upcoming meeting. Jerome Powell is likely to maintain the same rhetoric he has been using for at least the past two meetings. There will probably be continued discussion about tariffs, even though it's becoming increasingly apparent that they aren't having any significant inflationary effect. There's a strong possibility that the Fed will express concern about the geopolitical situation between Israel and Iran, which could further reduce the likelihood of rate cuts, especially if crude oil continues to rise above $80 per barrel and creates the potential for an inflationary spike.
